Tiffany’s whole life has led her to this moment right now. Before starting this Joy Journey, she worked in the television and entertainment industry as a Producer, Host and Writer. She then moved into the Event and Marketing industry; founding her own company (icing.ca) to provide top-tier hospitality teams for major brands across Canada.
When the 2020 pandemic brought her company and industry to a screeching halt, Tiffany was left at home caring for two young daughters and feeling the need to keep them happy and safe.
Tiffany has lived a hectic and exciting lifestyle, so when the world came to a standstill, she knew she had to dig deep to find joy in the everyday. While sharing her real-life stories, she realized that she was not alone and was in fact inspiring others.
For over two decades, Tiffany lived and breathed the world of entertainment and sports. She has witnessed first-hand what brings people joy. However, when stadiums were empty, people were apart and events were not going on, seeking joy became something she needed to find internally rather than externally … and that is where the true magic happened.
Despite all of the big, bright moments of her career, Tiffany has still lived a life of ups, downs and in-betweens. She is perfectly imperfect and considers herself a work in progress.
Writing authentically is her passion and way of communicating to touch lives and inspire others. She considers her glass half full, most days, as we all fall down, but in picking herself up and dusting off, she starts each day anew.
Her enthusiasm is contagious to all who jump on board and join this joy journey… so come along… she’s waiting for you!
Tiffany shares her personal stories. She is raw and relatable. The more she shares, the more she hopes to inspire.
Whether writing about motherhood or pandemic woes, Tiffany’s insightful words resonate with me deeply. Her positivity elicits hope along with some humour which is greatly needed at this time.
There aren’t many people that I can say I stop and read all of their posts but when Tiffany writes something I take the time to read it. She writes about things that the average person can relate to and she has a way of framing it that inspires me to change my outlook. On the one hand her outlook is very realistic but on the other hand she sees things through a lens of learning, opportunity and positivity. I generally share this outlook with her but at times I need a reminder and Tiffany’s stories and writings provide me that. I always feel better after reading her stories.
I cannot say enough about Tiffany!
In the midst of lockdown, we were all staying at home in our bubbles and feeling that sense of loneliness and boredom. Tiffany, with her creative skills created a New Years Eve Scavenger Hunt which included tasks and adventures that were tailored to both adults and children. Tiffany just knew how to make the most out of a very difficult time. She knew how to put smiles on everyone’s face and help us forget about what was happening. Tiffany turned that New Years into one that we will never forget.
I personally had so much fun that I asked her to help me transition this to my workplace. Tiffany worked to prepare a similar event for our workplace and we presented it to my senior executives. They were so pleased with the idea that we immediately scheduled it. At the time, we were trying to get creative on ways to bring our employees together virtually and safely. Tiffany pulled together a phenomenal event that had smiles on all faces. She created this sense of togetherness.
As a noun, positive is: a good thing, it represents an affirmation.
As an adjective it is: measured, moving forward, expressed.
As a person it is: Tiffany.
I picture her standing at the ready, hands on hips, looking up with her cape flying out behind her as she lifts us up with affirmations.
I don’t know if I missed it somewhere along the line, but over the many, many years I’ve known Tiffany, and followed her through life stages, I have never seen her without a smile on her face and a bounce in her step. She lives the life she moralizes.
If anyone is the right person to share insights on living a positive life, learning that your glass is indeed full, it’s Tiffany.
I look forward to her posts which I know will set me straight – and help me realize my potential of positivity.
We can, and should, all learn from her.
